==> login to your fb account and click on the name of the friend you wish to mention
==> click the profile picture of the person and check the URL address, you will see his profile id e.g Facebook id=123456789012345. or if you know the username of the person, then type this on your browser
graph.facebook.com/friend usename
you will see the id of the person
==> copy it and go to your status update and type @[friend id:0 ] e.g
@[123456789123456:0 ] .note that there is space after the last number before the
] sign.that's all.
