the service works with any mobile phone that support text message sending, so no one is left behind.all you need to do is to send the message to a particular number using the appropriate format e.g bal followed by your 10 digit (NUBAN) account number

==> send the word bal followed by your 10 digit account number ( NUBAN )to 08100550000.
e.g bal 0012345678 to 08100550000
if you don't have your NUBAN account number, visit any gtbank to request for it as this service does not work with old number
==> after sending the message, you will get a reply immediately to see you balance.
NOTE: the service only works with the phone number you used when you opened your account and also different network charges may apply.its not up to #10.that's all.ENJOY.
