how to factory reset your android phone
there are two method which you can use to factory reset your phone back to its normal state, this includes phone factory reset and hard factory reset from recovery.what this means is that you can do a factory reset from the phone when it in the normal display mode by going through settings option while the other hard reset can be done by entering boot loader mode or recovery mode while the phone is switched off.for the purpose of this tutorial i am going to share the first method which is the phone factory reset option through the settings.first we need to understand what factory reset means
what is factory reset
this is an option that available for all phone that is running android OS.it gives you an option to restore the phone back to it's normal state, just like the way you bought it.what i mean is that it only affects the software part of the phone and not the hardware like speaker, buttons etc.if your hardware is damaged, you can not use factory reset to restore it.you will have to take it to an engineer to fix that for you as it is not a problem caused from phone software's or program.
you only make use of factory reset when you are having issues with your phone like may be the phone is very slow, not responding, hanging, software failure, phone not booting up, phone always restart it self (bootloops) etc.
