Automatic Windows update is set by default when you first buy a computer and it has its own advantages and disadvantages.i prefer disabling automatic windows update because when windows update is ON, the updates could lead to system errors if its not installed properly.when ever you are connected to the internet,windows update will automatically download and install updates without your notice and when you switch off the computer or laptop,it will start installing them which could affect your computer or laptop if care is not taking.so by preventing automatic windows update,you could save your computer from having system file errors.just imaging if windows has automatically download and install updates and their is not enough battery power to carry on the installation after turning off the computer or laptop,it might end up corrupting some files as a result of failed installation.so if you find your self in this situation, then this post will guide you on how to stop automatic windows update.
