Quality features to watch out for before buying a desktop computer or laptop

A friend of mine was asking me that i should list some quality features computer have to enable him buy the right one.so i thought it would be wise to also share it with you guys some of the qualities a computer should have before buying.Every day new and existing internet users buy computer and some of them just feel that any computer is OK for me.yes it may only be OK for you in the short run,but in the long run,you might regret it.if you are to buy a computer or laptop,they are certain features you should watch out for in the configuration of the computer.every thing is advancing and one need to follow the trend.computer is also advancing,new product of computers are manufactured,be it hp,acer,dell,Toshiba products etc,should not be under estimated.so therefore,the qualities of the computer should be a compulsory element you should watch out for before buying such computer.take note of that.i will share with you the features you should watch out for before buying a computer.

don't get too excited just because some one is using a product you like which is not exactly what you need.recently,a photographer / video editor bought a mini laptop for his photography and video editing works,but sold it within 2 days because such laptop is not suppose to be use for photography and video editing works.such work require a main laptop computer with large hard disk space and ram size with also good graphics.now you get the gist right.
features to watch out for before buying a computer
1.hard disk space:the hard disk space is known as the storage memory.its like your memory card and the more stuff you put in it,the lower the size.so therefore you should go for computer or laptops that has at least 150GB hard disk space and upward.
2.RAM size:the ram size is also some feature you should watch out for.the ram size also determine how fast your computer will be when performing some task like lunching application,transferring large files to flash drive,boost to internet browsing.e.t.c.the ram should be at least 2GB upward.hope you are getting the tips.
3.windows operating system:the windows operating system determine the operation of the computer system.it could be vista,window 7,mac,window xp, etc.at least the windows operating system of the computer should be either vista or window7 as at the time of writing this post,windows 8 is not yet popular in the market.
4.processor:processor should be Intel duo core2 or higher that accept both cd and dvd.this will allow you to play both CD and DVD to play both CD and DVD
5.wireless:its not every one that would actually use this,but if you are some one that love internet,then the computer should be a wireless computer that will enable you to find wireless network.some desktop computer now a days are wireless enabled.their are some things that might prompt the need to use your wireless and if such is not among the computer configuration, then you should opt for one that has such feature.
6.webcam:also it is not every one that would need this,but for the internet users,you definitely would appreciate this feature in your computer or laptop.the webcam should be up to 2mega pixel.the list are much but i will stop here for now.these are the basic features you would like a computer to have before you buy them.in summary:

Intel Mobile M / Centrino / Dual Core or Dual Core 2 Processor

Parallel port
100/1000 NIC
