it is not a news that blogger has added new features that has to do more on SEO optimization for blogspot website.so if you are a webmaster using blogger blog,then the newly added SEO search preference that makes blogspot search engine friendly is a must to tweak.this will go a long way in boosting your website rank on Google search and also visitors can be able to see your site on the web.the search preference for blogger blog has advance option also which is not recommended for newbies to play with.today i am going to share with you on how to tweak the new blogger blog search preference for friendly SEO search engine optimization.
some of the newly added feature includes the following.

==>adding meta tag description to home page to describe what your niche is about with 150 characters
==>meta tag description to each post to describe what it is talking about
==>tweaking the robot.txt file which controls the way search engine crawls your site(for advance users).
==>104 page not found redirect which enable visitors to locate your site when they click on a broken link.
for the purpose of this post,we are only going to talk about the meta tags description.
so how do i tweak blogger blog search preference for friendly SEO search engine optimization
==> logging to your dashboard and go to settings==search preference,then click edit meta tag and insert a description of 150 characters to activate it for the home page.add some thing that is related to your niche
==>now each time you create a new post, click on search preference at the right hand side of the page and add a little description for the post.make it brief and simple.that's all.
note that this features is only available to the new blogger interface.i am going to make a post on how to set up custom 104 error page not found for blogger blog in my future updates.so subscribe to receive update.ENJOY.
