jamb utme 2012 post ume cutoff mark has been release. this is to announce to those that registered most Nigerian university, polytechnic, college of education as their choice of school that the joint admission and matriculation board (JAMB) has released their official post ume 2012/2013 cut off mark. this is a great news for those who have below 200 as score since they can apply for various university, polytechnic, college of education 2012/2013 post ume application form. so if you are worried that your score may not meet up with your choice of school, then the official jamb utme 2012/2013 post ume cut-off mark will serve as great help and guideline for you.
The official jamb utme 2012/2013 cut-off mark for admissions to universities in Nigeria for 2012/2013 academic session was fixed at 180, while the board set 160 admissions into polytechnics, colleges of education and other diploma-awarding institutions.
according to them,The cut-off points were decided in Abuja, on Monday, at the 2012 combined policy committee meeting on admissions to degree-awarding institutions, National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) and National Innovation Diploma-awarding institutions

in respect of this policy, the Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa’i, chairman of the meeting, urged the various institutions to adhere strictly to admission guidelines, which stipulated a 70:30 ratio for technology and non-technology for ND programmes and 60:40 science/arts ratio for the universities and colleges of education.
to sum it up, the Registrar and Chief Executive of JAMB, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, also warned private universities in Nigeria against conduct of illegal admissions of students.
