but with ping.fm site use to automatically post to multiple social networking website at once( one click of a button), even individual who want to update their social network status with one click can use it.so today i am going to share with you on what is ping.fm and how to make use of it.
what is ping.fm?
ping.fm is a website used to automatically update status, make post on social networking website like Facebook, twitter, delicious, LinkedIn, MySpace etc.the site is free for every one to make use of on like most site that provide similar service with cost attach to it.so if you don't want to waste some time updating your social network status, then this website can be of great help to you.
so how do i use ping.fm
all you need to get started is to register an account with them.the process is fast and easy.
==> visit www.ping.fm and create an account.
==> login and click on add network, you will see list of social network sites.choose the once you want.
==> after clicking to add, you will be asked to link the account,do it and you are done. e.g lets use FB. when you add FB, you will be asked to link and authorize it to post on your wall,choose yes and it will take you to FB page to do the authorization.when you are done it will redirect you back to the website.
==> when you are through adding such accounts, you can then use the message box from the website to update your status asap.
==> to do this,go to dashboard and choose the network you want from the drop down list on "ping my" at the right hand corner,then write your post and click ping it.
it will show up on the network you choose e.g FB. that's all.ENJOY.

I tried to add my facebook to ping.fm but could not see the linking button when facebook brings up their page on my phone.how do i go about it
ReplyDeleteI am also having same problem.i used my phone to register,but can not authorized facebook cause it does not show up.the thing will load facebook authorization page,but i can't see the button
ReplyDelete@anonymous, i have checked it and its like the Facebook authorization is not compatible with ping.fm on mobile.so you will have to go through computer to do the linking.after that, you can then go ahead to post to your wall using ping.fm on mobile.
