power searching with google : class two activities

the second class of power searching with Google has commence and i have successfully completed the lessons.its my pleasure to let you know that the class 2 is another interesting part where Google team of expert took us to a more deeper search engine techniques and how to eventually spot the main content we are looking for be it a news article, blog, image, video, etc.so today i am going to share with you the activities from class 2 power searching with Google.

==> Lesson 2. 1 When search results suggest something new

this lesson try to let us know that when searching for big names  on Google search, be it movies, books, music etc, there will be a panel at the right hand side of the screen which will give us more suggestion as to what that search is all about and may also lead to finding some thing new as a result of just that one search.they uses an example of a plant that has about 30 aquatic species whose members has several names given to them.the plant name is called "sagittaria".

Another method to build more targeted queries is to learn new, more precise terms to describe what you seek. Often, these terms show up somewhere in your search results, and if you are attuned to noticing them, you can use them to help you find information faster.

i believe so many of us searches Google almost every day, but do you know that what you are looking for is also available in various media format like web, news, video, image, application, books etc which you can use to effectively utilize what you are searching for.

when searching for a particular stuff on Google search, you will see list of media format at the left side of the bar ranging from video, image, books, blog, discussion etc which will give you that you seek for in their various format.

this lesson talks about the page source and activities.what you need to know about a page before clicking to read the rest of the articles.for example, the page tittle, url source, snippet (some few lines of word to know what the article is all about) etc.

this lesson talks about the different kinds of content that is available for a particular searched terms, a search term can have news article, how to blog post, discussion, shopping, flight etc which you can take advantage of for effective searches.
