You can cancel a sent mail to any one making use of any email service providers like yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc.some time, after preparing or composing an email and then send it to some one, it may contain some errors or sent to the wrong person and you may wish to cancel such mail.to do this, you will have to enable the features from your

i will assume you already have gmail account, if yes the visit gmail.com and loggin to your email
==> click on the settings icon that looks like gear icon and click
LABS
==> from LABS, scroll to the option that says
UNDO SEND.if it's disable, then enable it and save the changes
==> after saving the changes, go back and click the GEAR ICON=SETTINGS again, then click on GENERAL at the left side and look for UNDO SEND.if it is disable, then enable it and save.
note that you can set the time frame at which you want a sent message to be cancelled.the time could be 5 sec, 10 seconds, 20 seconds etc but we all want some thing that will cancel it immediately, so 5 seconds is recommended.
now any time you compose and send a message, a dialog box option pop up asking if you want to undo/cancel the message, you can then decide whether to cancel or not.that's all, ENJOY
