what is google canned responses for gmail. google canned response is a useful feature which allows gmail or google app users to make an auto responder message which will be sent to any one who email you.as a business owner or website owner, this feature would be of great benefit to you as you don't need to come online to be replying some one with same message,so today i am going to share with you on
how to use google canned response on gmail.
this feature is available for gmail and google app users.so regardless of whether you have a custom google email or not, you can still activate it on your gmail.
how to activate and use Google canned response on gmail
==> visit
gmail.com and login.
==> scroll to settings at the upper corner of the page, click the settings icon that looks like
GEAR ICON, you will see settings, click on it, then click on
LABS.
==> when it opens.search for "
canned responses".at the right hand side, you will see enable and disable, just tick ENABLE and click SAVE CHANGE.
==> now go to your email and click on COMPOSE to make a new message.write what ever you want.at the down right corner of the compose popup, click on the small icon MORE OPTION.you will see canned response, click it.it will bring an option, click new canned response
==> set a name for your response.it could be any thing that you wish to set e.g, make money online class info.then click the OK button
==> now go back to compose again and click on the MORE OPTION icon, click on canned response.from the option that will show up, just choose the name you've made.note that under it, you will see some thing like
INSERT,
SAVE,
DELETE.
this means you can save the message as canned responses after composing or delete.each time you want to use canned responses, you will have to click on compose, then click the more option=canned responses=insert the name.
you can change any information on the compose message box if you want, then click the name of the canned responses that has SAVE on it, if you are asked to save changes, click yes to save it and then send
if you want the canned responses message to be sent automatically to any one who send you message with a specific subject, then you will have to set the filter option.to do this go gmail and click on the
GEAR ICON=SETTINGS=FILTERS.
==> click on create
NEW FILTERS.a box will popup, from the options, leave the from and to empty.in subject, input the name you used for the canned responses and click continue
==> from the next option. scroll to where you will see
SEND CANNED RESPONSES, in front of it, you will see a box where you will choose the canned response you have created.do that and OK it.
==> now any one that send you a message using the subject you specified on the canned responses subject, the person will get the canned responses message you made without you being online to do that.it will auto send the message to the person.that's all, ENJOY.
