recently Facebook changed their app id creator dashboard which looks more matured and user friendly.i was trying to approve some Facebook comments on my blog and noticed that the APP ID creator dashboard on Facebook has changed with the menu aligned to the left side of the page.at first it looks confusing as i usually approve comments on my blog via mobile phone and did not notice changes.but this time i was on PC when i noticed the changes, so i tried to get familiar with the dashboard, finding most of the features which is not visible unless you click on some of the details on the left side of the dashboard before you will get to see them.the old fashioned way of creating Facebook app id for your website is gone but that does not makes it difficult.in fact this time it is even easier to create one if you follow the guide on this post.this guide will direct you on

just follow this steps to generate your own facebook app id for your website or for any other stuff you want to use it for.
how to create facebook app id for your website
==> visit
http://developers.facebook.com/apps
==> you will see all the apps you have created but if it's your first time, you won't see any, just scroll to the upper right side of the page, you will see a create new app button, click on it
==> it will bring up a new window for you to fill some details like display name, namespace etc.just fill in the display name with any name you would want it to display e.g yoursite name.leave the name space blank and then at the buttom, choose a category e.g business, entertainment etc.after choosing one, click on the CREATE button
==> after clicking on the create button, a captcha image verification window will popup, fill it and continue.if everything goes well, it will create the app and you will see your app id and security key.but you are not done yet.you have to fill in your website details
==> to fill in your website details, click on settings at the left side of the dashboard.you will see details like APP ID, security key, display name, namespace, app domain, contact email and add platform at the bottom
==> now first of all, fill in the app domain with your website domain name without http and www. e.g yoursite.com and then fill the contact email with your email address e.g addressname@yahoo.com or gmail.com or hotmail.com
==> after filling it, don't click on save changes yet, click on the
ADD PLATFORM. a window will pop up, from the list of option that will show up, click on website.you will see details like site url and mobile site url.just fill in your site domain on the two option e.g site url will be http://www.yoursite.com while mobile site url will be your mobile site if any e.g http://m.yoursite.com or if you are using blogger, it should be http://www.yoursite.com/?m=1.
that is blogger's mobile url but if you don't have mobile version of your site, just input the same thing you inputted on site url and click on save changes.
==> you are not done yet, now click on status and review at the left side of the dashboard.you will have to make it public by clicking the YES button at the status and review option and save.
==> now you have successfully created a faecbook app.you can add your logo,icon image, cover image if you like by clicking on app details at the left side of the dashboard and scroll down, you will see where to upload your logo, icon etc.you will also see the size and dimension that is required.
you can now use your facebook app id to add comment form on your blog or website be it blogger or wordpress.that's all, ENJOY.
