Ok guys i guess you most have noticed the
new look and feel of gurubest.com. recently i
changed my template for a reason best know to me and i will tell you some of the reasons that made me to change
gurubest template to a more responsive template which i believe its good for the health of the blog.if you have been a regular visitor to
gurubest, you will noticed that the formal template i make use of does not support
mobile responsiveness, this means that mobile users don't get full dose of the site and they miss out in quality information that this site has, leaving only those who make use of computer or high end smart phones like
blackberry, android phone, iPhone and other devices with modem web browsers that shows the full content on mobile or computer to enjoy it.i also wanted mobile users to have a full view of the site as they browse using
operamini or ucweb browser so they too can enjoy the quality information this site has to offer.here is some of the
reasons why changed gurubest blogger template to more responsive one
like i had said, one of the reason is responsiveness.i want the site to also have its full content displayed on mobile device web browser which many people make use of.the world is going mobile, so i have to improve on it too.don't want to be left out so i had to search for a responsive blogger template.did series of searches but could not come up with a light weight simple and responsive design.

i needed something that is light weight and simple in design with mobile responsiveness.the ones i came across with are too heavy and consume lots of internet data to load due to too much of images,buttons, java script and other things that can slow a site when loading.i don't want that so i continued the search and finally download a nice and simple responsive template which i had to test run for some weeks, checking out errors and fixing them.also adding more feature to the template that was not present.
the template took me some time to fix some errors because some default features on blogger was not working due to the codes use in the template.default features like comment was not working on mobile, the template has auto read more on it, so it conflict with the read more / jump break tag i have been manually imputing on my blog post which made the read more to appear twice on each post.
i have to fix all that and also check for more errors.also the full desktop version of my formal template does not feature thumbnail images on home page blog post and i also wanted this feature but could not add it on formal template.after series of tweaking and checking, i finally decided to use the new template on
gurubest.com .
my decision to change the template has been something i have longed waited for but did not see the right template to use.but with this, i believe every one visiting this site will have a full dose of the website both on mobile and computer as most of the site features is responsive to the devices used to check the it.now the mobile version of the site has a share button for
Facebook,twitter and Google plus, will add more as time goes on but i just want to leave the 3 share button for now.
i have always wanted my mobile version to have a share button so that mobile users can easily share the content with their friends.the default mobile version does not support adding all this due to my formal template not supporting custom mobile template.
due to this, i could not tweak the mobile version of the site template.so i have to change it to this responsive template.now i can decide to feature any of my blog widget and gadgets on mobile version of the site without stress by using the
mobile='yes' or No Feature.
so finally i am done with my site new template.took me time to tweak the template.i always wanted a template that can feature most of my site content on mobile,so i went for this and it does the job well.now
gurubest.com is mobile responsive with fast loading.
most of my site visit comes from mobile. i believe they will have a full dose of gurubest on mobile.if you are a blogger or a webmaster making use of blogger blogspot, there is need to go mobile responsive to enable mobile users get a full dose of your site without sucking up their internet data bandwidth.
