First Bank Instant Top up Mobile Recharge Via USSD.i never knew first bank Nigeria plc has the USSD mobile banking service that allows their customers to buy airtime recharge their mobile phone.this service is made possible with the new features first bank Nigeria has added to their mobile banking service in Nigeria. although firstbank is not the only bank that offer such service to their customers.most banks in Nigeria also offer such services such as gtbank.gtbank has even upgraded their
USSD Mobile banking service which now allows customers to
transfer money to gtbank and also to other banks.
For
firstbank users, you are only allowed to buy airtime with this service.maybe they would make it available so that customers can transfer money to other customers.lets hope for this in the future.
If you are a first bank customer, you can buy airtime/credit with the
first bank mobile banking USSD by just dialing *894*amount#. Example
*894*500#.the amount of airtime you requested for will be sent to your mobile number.

Note that this will only work with the number you used when you created the account with first bank.this is due to security measures but it is not that secured to me without authentication to complete the transaction.
Also, when i tried to buy airtime with the code, i got a message from firstbank that i am not authorized to do this except i go to any of their branch for further details. Maybe one is expected to
