Gtbank Temporary Restriction of Your Account :
BVN Problem .recently i got a mail from gtbank with saying my account has been temporary restricted. i checked the mail to read in full only to find out that the message is as a result of BVN update.according to
Central Bank Of Nigeria, all Bank Customers are expected to register for
bank verification number (
BVN ) with a deadline date to be 31st of October 2015. gtbank has started restricting customers bank account that have not linked their BVN number to their gtbank account which is too early. even at this, i am not sure why they sent me the message because my BVN is boldly written on my internet banking platform and the same bvn was registered from one of gtbank branch. so i guess this may be an error message because my bvn has been linked to my gtbank account.if you are among those who got this message and you are sure you have
linked your gtbank account with your bvn , then you shouldn't worry that much.
probably this could be an error message but still you can go to any nearest gtbank branch to confirm if your bvn has been successfully linked to your account.here is the message they sent to me
