Gtbank Reduces International Withdrawal Spending Limit Of Naira Mastercard To $ 100 Per Month . Each day passes by without Nigerian banks coming up with policy in regards to US Dollars. Currently the rate at which dollars exchange rate to naira is going, it would seem as if the best option is to prevent Nigerians from spending dollars in the international market. At least this is what the country's governments is trying to do, making sure that they find a way to reduce the international spending limits, both on ATM withdrawal, pos and online payment. To tackle this, CBN is making use of commercial banks in the country to prevent their customers from spending more dollars by placing a spending limits of $ 100 per month.

Now gtbank has done it, including other banks in Nigeria. Gtbank recently reduces their International ATM Withdrawal Spending Limits. I got an email from gtb, stating their new international spending limits per month.

When you convert the spending limits of $ 100 as at the time of writing this post, dollar to naira exchange rate of $ 100 should not be more than #50000 .

This means, in essence to the gtbank international spending limits of $ 100 per month, you are restricted from spending less than #50000 per month if you convert dollar to naira exchange rate.
