Excel Formulas Cheat Sheet : How To Highlight Every 15th Lines Of Cell In Excel. recently i was trying to segment some of my Email List by adding batches to the cells, from 1-15 cells in a column named Batches. this is because i want to use it with Gmail SMTP Server to enable me send mass mail using one of my secret email marketing system i set up for small email marketing to my blog subscribers. the idea for this is to enable me segment the list to set a minimum number emails every 3 hours and the best way i could do that is to highlight every 15th line of cell on the CSV file so that i can pin point the lines to add batches to with different numbers.
this means from 1-15 cell, i will add Batch 1,then followed with Batch 2, 3, 4,5 to the rest cells. doing this manually will take time and if you do not highlight the 15th cell in the list, you might make mistake and it will be more difficult for you to work through adding those batches because you will have to start counting the lines of cell one by one to know if you've reached the 15th cell so you can add the batches and move to the next 1-15 cell again. with this manual input, you get frustrated.
so to make this easy for me, i have to highlight the last 15th cell on the list. even if the list is more than 1000, the highlighted colour will appear in every last 15th cell so that i can easily spot them and insert the batches.to achieve this, i was able to get an excel formula cheat sheets that enable me to add the highlighted colour to every last 15 cell in a row.this was made possible using the Excel Conditioning features. so if you want to highlight any last numbers of cell on your excel work sheet, then follow this process below.

==> Open The Excel File You Want to work on.
==> Highlight The Column you want to add the Highlighted Colours to Be
==> Scroll To the Conditional Formatting Dialogue box which is located at (Home–> Conditional Formatting–> New Rule)
the dialogue box will display some options,Click On New Rules
==> it will pop up the New Formatting Window, Just Scroll Down And Click on “Use a Formula to determine which cells to format” option.
==> Insert The Follow In The box
=Mod(row($H1),15)=0
==> Click On The Format Button, then scroll to the top right, select Fill
==> chose a colour you wish to fill it with, then OK All.
==> it will highlight every 15th cell in the row for you. this way you can decide what you want to do after that. as you can see from my screenshot, i was able to add a new batches it gets to the lines of cell. it makes the job easy for me using formula.hope this helps.
